Download help is above. All files are
ZIPPED, so you will need a program such as WinZip to open them. The
information above will show you how to download and install our
favorite compression (Zip) program.
Sorry, there are too many email programs for me to
give you an exact answer, you'll just have to do some reading about the
program or service that you are using. I can tell you that you will send
it as an ATTACHMENT, so start your learning looking for "How to send
an attachment." in the HELP section of your email program or service
provider. Good Luck!
Most pranks that you download from Robrob8.com
will NOT show up as a virus, but a couple of them will. The reason is that
they are a JOKE program that causes an unexpected result, usually a fake
format of your system, or shutting down Windows. The virus warning always
starts with "JOKE_" to let you know that it is just a JOKE,
not a real virus. Your virus software help files and documentation
will have more information about this warning. Read it.
Do not email me about these warnings. I already know what they are and
I certainly would not be responsible for infecting anyone's computer with
a harmful virus. Remember, I virus check every download AND I run them on
my own system before posting them here!

You didn't follow the instructions properly. Go to
the PRANKS page and read the instructions for the prank you are having
trouble with. If all else fails, re-start your computer.

A ZIP file is a compression format (filename.zip)
that packs the prank or other downloadable file into a smaller package so
it is faster to download. All files here are ZIPPED so they are faster to
download and easier for you to run your own virus scan on them, if you
wish. I recommend that you use WinZip (it has a free trial) software,
you can find out how to get it from the Download
Help page.
Zip and Exe (executable) files are shown using the different icons below
when viewed in the Explorer View of "My Computer" or
"Windows Explorer"
As far as I know, all Zipped (Compressed) files
will be seen with the Zip icon, Exe (executable) files will either be
shown with the unpacking box or an icon that the program creator has made
specifically for the program. But this can vary with the software program
used.

Yes you can. Follow these steps explicitly

Email me that you are going to be
sending me a prank or other file. Include the file details, such as
size and what it does. Include your name, email address and phone
number. Do not send it with this email.

When I have received the first
email, I will reply. When you receive my reply, again use your reply
feature and attach the file you want to send. The file MUST be in ZIP
format! You must keep the reply email intact!

I will quarantine and virus check
the file. I may submit it for review to McAfee if I am suspicious of
it.

If and when the file passes all
available tests, it will be reviewed and added to the most appropriate
category. I will give you credit for sending me the file if you wish.

I do not purchase pranks or other
programs for distribution here, but with credit being given to you as
the creator or finder of the file, you will gain fame.
Press at the same time "CTRL" and
"ALT" and "DELETE" and in the CLOSE PROGRAM WINDOW
highlight the program you want to close and click on END TASK
Unfortunately, Netscape and Internet
Explorer work differently in reading the HTML (web page code) that I am
using. To see the Robrob8 site with all the effects that I am using,
you'll have to use Internet Explorer 4 or newer. I am working at the Netscape
version of the web page code, but it takes longer, thus the error messages
at the bottom of your browser window. Please bear with me!
You already have all the
tools you'll need, here's a step-by-step guide. A screenshot is what you
need to have your picture of your screen sent in to Robrob8. Now, a lot
of people will tell you that you need X program to do this, spend mucho
$$$ , and who knows what else.... but I have a better way. Something
that's free for you and easy for me.
First, I want you to closely look at your keyboard. Look for the PRINT
SCREEN key. It's usually somewhere near the top right. It may say on it
PRTSCN or something very similar. Once you've found it, look at the next
step photo below.
Once you've found it, pat
yourself on the back. You've discovered a basic graphic editing program that 75%
of computer users don't know they own. Weird, eh? The only thing you really need
to know from this point is how to PASTE your PRTSCN screenshot into PAINT so you
can save the image and email it to me. Follow the steps in the image below to
save the screenshot.
Step 1 - While playing your
game press the PRTSCN (Print Screen) key.
Step 2 - Open PAINT as shown
above in the first picture then PASTE it as shown in the second picture.
Step 3 - Paste it, then go
under the FILE menu and save it. Preferably use your own name as the file name
you save the picture with.
Step 4 - Use your email program
to send it to me as an ATTACHMENT - rob@[no-spam]robrob8.com "remove the
no-spam" -. I'll do the rest. If you need help with ATTACHMENTS, please don't
email me. Use the HELP feature in your email program. Honestly, I'd help you if
I could but there are SO MANY email programs that I really can't help you. BE
SURE to include your name, your game, your score and five hundred dollars....,
well, if you include in your message a nice thought about Robrob8.com you can
skip paying me $500.00. BUT only if you include that in your message.
