I find it my duty to tell you to WISE THE FUCK UP as far as spending money goes.

You’re spending too much and you owe money to to many people and establishments.

Look right now and tell me how much money you have in your pocket/purse/wallet.

If it’s more than you have in the bank, including your credit card debt, bank account overdrafts, lines of credit, blah, blah, thren you are FUCKED and this will all haunt you.

Unless December 21 2012 really is our last day on earth. At least save some of your money for the end of the world.

Hell, maybe buy gold or bottled water.

I can tell you that I am quite tormented by what I should do with my future earnings… and unless I win the lottery tonight, I know my finances are shot for the short term.

But I do live on the top of a mountain, so there might be some very expensive property holdings in my future, after the earthquakes and floods, that is.

I have to admit, before the launch I was totally psyched into buying an iPad… but I think now I will wait to see what else is on the horizon.

Something from Dell (yuckie, really)?

Maybe just iPad version 2.

For now, I’ll keep doing my research and watch all the crazies blending and beating theirs up. (Or maybe it’s their friends?)

I am not a drone of the marketing establishment… I will wait. Maybe.

Apple's iPad 2010

I mean, what the hell??!!

A 10gb iTouch is something I can buy already. Not to say it isn’t a great little music and video player, but the hell of it is, I don’t need another one that’s 9.7″ large.

And I don’t need another reason to keep putting money into Apple’s deep pockets. I mean, if I could buy anything and put it into the iPad I might be convinced to get one, but not just to put only Apple designated content into something I own… again.

I was hoping for a tablet that had a webcam (or two, front and back), a lot of hard drive space (maybe a solid state drive?), the real Mac OS X, touchscreen (Ok, it has one) and could do all that I can do now with my little Acer Aspire 1410, or my large 17.3″ HP Pav DV7 like an HDMI output.

Maybe version 2 will come with all I want. Sorry Steve, you just didn’t do all I had hoped for.

I am going to watch the movie “The Pelican Brief“.

I don’t know what hold this movie has on me but when I’m feeling down or sad this movie always picks me up. Just like listening to 54-40 songs and dwelling in the lyrics as the world swirls around me.
