Outlook Express + Windows 7 Upgrade = No Email

Windows 7
To avoid losing all of your email messages and all of your contact information use the update to the Windlws Live services before you slide in the Windows 7 upgrade.
And back up all your shit too, before you start the upgrade installation.
If you are not using Windows Mail, a part of Microsoft’s “Windows Live” services, and you are using Outlook Express, you MUST back up your emails, back up your contacts (just to be safe) and then install the Windows Live services BEFORE you upgrade to Windows 7.
There, have I said it enough times?
If you’ve LOST all of your email messages and email contacts and don’t know why, then this is why:
Microsoft no longer bundles any email program with the Windows 7 operating system. So if you are not using the email program that can only be downloaded from Microsoft as part of the Windows Live services you will lose all your email stuff when you upgrade your OS to Windows 7.
There, I’ve said it enough times. You lost all of your email stuff because you didn’t know this, but now you do.
